• ImageExchange users can view rights information within search results windows as they scroll through thumbnails online. Any image indexed with the ImageIRC will display an “i” in the corner. When pointing to the "i", owner information and licensing details are revealed. With a single click, image users can purchase rights to legitimately use the image.

Currently ImageExchange accepts image registrations from agencies, professional photographers and photo-sharing sites that can provide bulk image delivery. Such sites typically have a minimum of 30,000 images that can be entered into the ImageIRC. If you are a photographer with less than 30,000 images, you can use the PicScout ImageIRC and have your images participate with the ImageExchange through PhotoShelter, ImageSpan, or Flickr for attribution, non-commercial images. PicScout intends to make ImageExchange and the ImageIRC available for single image registrations in the near future.
